Police say a 15-year-old student opened fire at a Christian school in Wisconsin on Monday. A teacher and a teenage student were killed in the incident, as well as the alleged shooter, suffering a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Six others were injured, with two in critical condition. Police say a second-grader called 911 to report the shooting. NTD sat down with retired ATF Deputy Assistant Director Peter Forcelli to discuss what we know about the investigation so far, as well as Aron Boxer, a former special education teacher, on how schools can make students feel safer.

With no real answers yet, about the mysterious drones sighted above New Jersey, federal agencies are warning people not to try and take action themselves. This includes shining lasers or trying to shoot at them. President-elect Donald Trump says the military and top officials know what's going on and should come clean, but the White House says it has no evidence the drones are illegal or dangerous in any way.

Members of the House and Senate are racing against the clock to pass a funding bill before Friday on midnight, to prevent a possible government shutdown. The Senate is also on track to vote on the national defense bill, which addresses reforms in DEI and trans procedures for children of service members.
