On May 13, 1992, Mr. Li Hongzhi first introduced Falun Dafa to the public in Changchun, China. Rooted in the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, the practice spread by word of mouth to every corner of China within just a few years — and from there to more than 110 countries worldwide, improving the health and well-being of countless people across cultural and national boundaries.
Each year around May 13, Falun Dafa practitioners hold vibrant celebrations in cities around the world. From New York to London, from Taipei to Vancouver, the thunderous beat of the Tian Guo Marching Band and colorful parade contingents fill the streets — joined by government officials from across the globe who issue proclamations and letters of support, bearing witness to the beauty of a faith that has touched hundreds of millions of lives.
