These Hieroglyphs Reveal How The Great Pyramid Was Really Built And The Ramp Hidden Inside It

What if the system used to build the Great Pyramid was never dismantled, but sealed inside the monument when construction ended?

In 2017, the ScanPyramids collaboration used cosmic-ray muon detectors to identify a previously unknown space above the Grand Gallery of the Great Pyramid. The structure, now known as the ScanPyramids Big Void, extends for at least 30 meters through the monument.

Muon imaging works by measuring naturally occurring particles that pass through stone. When those particles encounter an empty space, more of them reach the detectors below, allowing researchers to identify hidden cavities without drilling into the pyramid.

The discovery revived questions about how the monument was constructed and whether additional passages may remain sealed inside its limestone core.

One proposed explanation comes from architect Jean-Pierre Houdin, who argued that the lower portion of the pyramid was built using an external ramp while the upper courses were raised through a spiral passage running inside the structure.
