There have only been seven moments in history when the entire Christian Church stopped and asked one question together. Who is Jesus, really? Seven times, someone gave an answer that sounded right. Nicaea did not defeat Arianism, Arianism grew AFTER 325, and the bishops who defended the Creed were exiled, not the heretics. Ephesus had TWO rival councils in the same city excommunicating each other. Chalcedon split the Church in a break that has never healed millions of Oriental Orthodox Christians left in 451 and never came back. A pope was condemned by name at Constantinople III.
