Last November, during our journey through Portugal, France and Italy, filmmaker Alex Schuchmann visited painter Giulio Noccesi in his Turin studio. Born in Florence in 1996 and now based in Turin, Giulio creates paintings that blur the boundaries between memory and imagination. Family members, friends, interiors and familiar landscapes become part of dreamlike compositions that feel both deeply personal and quietly surreal.
