From a mom with her newborn to a very active competition group of humpback whales in Maui

Our early morning trip on January 28, 2028, with Captain Derek and Cat on Wiki, started with a mom, her newborn calf and a male escort in the morning colors. We soon encountered a very a ctive competition group of several males hoping to "win" the opportunity to sire next year's calf. With several big chin lunges, a very loud trumpet and lots of flying body parts we had lots to see above water and could only imagine what was happening below the surface.
