They both had no tails. One day, the small kangaroo from the hills found honey in a hole in a rock and ate it all. The big kangaroo from the plains wanted some honey too, but he only got spiders from the hole. He got angry and threw a stick at the small kangaroo, who threw it back. The sticks got stuck in their backs and became their tails.
