
Cersis Canadensis - Carolina Sweetheart Redbud 🌳
Cercis canadensis 'Carolina Sweetheart', commonly known as the Eastern Redbud.
‘Carolina Sweetheart', is a striking deciduous ornamental tree or shrub known for its heart-shaped, variegated leaves and vibrant pink-purple flowers.
The leaves emerge maroon, then mature to green with a white margin, providing year-round interest. It's a popular choice for gardens due to its compact size, attractive foliage, and spring blooms.

Flowers: Pink-purple flowers appear on bare branches in spring before the leaves emerge.
Foliage: Heart-shaped, variegated leaves emerge maroon, then turn green with a white margin.
