The Nile Cruise continues up to Edfu. This temple dates from 237BC and was preserved by desert sand  and dedicated to Horus, son of Isis and Osiris. However the settlement dates back from 3,000BC. Walls are decorated with colossal reliefs of Ptolemy XII who holds enemies by their hair.
