It is said that a cellist who looks at the score immediately sees how naturally and skilfully the notes wrap themselves around the strings of the instrument, creating a path from simplicity to increasing virtuosity. 

No wonder the Bach: Cello Suite No. 1 Prelude In G minor has become one of the most popular pieces in the world of solo cello music. 

In my opinion, it can reveal the deep wisdom and purity of the cellist's understanding of Bach's music. For it is rarely the fastest and most technically demanding arrangements that can reveal the inner realm of the musician's musical understanding; it is the slow, solo playing that, in my opinion, allows the cellist to reveal to the audience an insight into his innermost understanding of classical music. 

This river in Rosenlaui, Switzerland was filmed by both Simone and Christian Schlegel. We were on a bridge filming in the same direction, so we can't say who pressed the shutter, as we often use each other's camera depending on which lens is on which camera and what we want to capture...
