It has a flat body which resembles a leaf, and specially designed feet for grasping limbs and branches of trees. Its prehensile tail acts as a fifth appendage and aids with climbing. When Veiled Chameleons are stressed, they can display strong colorations like bright yellow and black. While it might seem that they would want to blend with their surroundings, the surroundings only partly contribute to their color decisions. Emotions are the greatest contributing factor to color. Found primarily in Yemen, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
