Shade by the numbers to reveal a picture

  1. Each number is a run of shaded cells, in order, with at least one blank between runs.

  2. A line shaded as its numbers say greys them out. Dots mark cells you know are blank.

  3. Every row and column at once draws a picture, shown when you finish.

Controls

  • Tap to shade a cell, tap again to clear it.
  • Hold a cell, right-click it, or switch to Dot under the board to mark it blank.
  • Drag along a row or column to mark many.
  • Keys: arrows, Space, X, Backspace, Ctrl/⌘+Z.

Start with the big numbers: a run longer than half its line always covers the middle.
