In a recent confrontation on Capitol Hill, Republican Representative Chuck Fleischmann of Tennessee stood firm in his support for Israel amidst accusations of supporting “genocide” by Code Pink activists.

Code Pink, known for its anti-war stance and critical views on Israeli policies, confronted Rep. Fleischmann, accusing him of endorsing the alleged “genocide” of Palestinians by supporting Israel.

However, Fleischmann clarified that his statement bidding “goodbye to Palestine” was not indicative of a policy stance but rather a response to the activists’ harassment.
Despite being targeted for his Catholic faith and labeled as a “Christian Zionist” by some online commentators, Fleischmann received praise from supporters for his resolute defense of Israel and refusal to succumb to intimidation tactics.
