Golf professionals and top amateurs aiming to compete in the 2025 LIV Golf League will gather in Saudi Arabia this December for LIV Golf Promotions, where they’ll vie for a chance to secure a spot in the league and The International Series in 2025.
LIV Golf announced on Thursday its plans for the second edition of the event, which will offer participants the opportunity to compete for a $1.5 million purse.
The three-day, four-round tournament will take place from Dec. 12-14 at Riyadh Golf Club. At the conclusion of the 36-hole final day, the top finisher will claim $200,000 and secure a spot on the 2025 LIV Golf League roster. Additionally, the top 10 finishers, including ties, will earn entry into all events next year in The International Series, sanctioned by the Asian Tour.
Eligible participants also include LIV players who were relegated after the 2024 season due to their finish, as well as those without a 2025 team commitment who placed between 25th and 48th in the 2024 standings.
“Those who have competed in the LIV Golf League consistently share similar feedback: the energy, camaraderie, and global competition have created a once-in-a-lifetime experience for players to pursue their dreams at the highest level,” said Greg Norman, LIV Golf’s commissioner and CEO.
“LIV Golf Promotions delivers another pathway for up-and-coming players and top competitors across the globe to experience a life-changing season with LIV, and we’re eager to see who steps up this year in Riyadh.”
