Quitting the Communist Youth League (May 31, 2025)
I didn’t know the truth before and joined the Youth League while I was in school. Now that I know the truth [about the CCP], I choose to follow the will of Heaven and stand with the divine. I hereby sincerely declare that I withdraw from the Communist Youth League and seek divine forgiveness.
— Xiaojuan (小娟) and Xiaowen (小雯), Luoyang, Henan Province.
Withdrawing from the League and Pioneers (May 31, 2025)
I was pressured into joining both the Young Pioneers and the Youth League, but I never paid any fees or had further involvement with them; I was never interested. This April, I came across the opportunity to take part in the Tuidang movement, and so I resolutely quit these evil [CCP] organizations.
— Zhang Mingxiang (张名洋), China.
‘I choose to live as a true Chinese!’ (May 31, 2025)
Today's China is shrouded in lifelessness. Men don't marry and women are not wed; people are murdered for their organs across the land; there is no respect for human life. People live like ghosts, hopelessly dehumanized. I now join the wave of people quitting the CCP, becoming one small drop in the current to disintegrate its evil regime.
I only ever joined the Young Pioneers as a child, and I hereby declare my withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party’s Young Pioneers. I choose to live as a true Chinese!
— Meng Ping'an (孟平安) Datong, Shanxi Province.
‘I refuse to bear collective guilt for the CCP’s evil deeds': A Chinese in the US quits the League and Pioneers (May 31, 2025)
I solemnly declare that as of today, I withdraw from the Chinese Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers. I refuse to bear collective guilt for the CCP’s evil deeds, including any consequences resulting from its policies or actions. This decision is entirely based on my personal conscience and free will.
— Fanfan (帆帆), the United States.
Northern Chinese harmed by COVID vaccines quit the CCP (May 30, 2025)
The toxic vaccine has left us wheelchair-bound. We firmly renounce our association with the Communist Party and all its evil organizations.
We are ordinary workers at a coal mine in a certain city in Hebei Province. During the COVID-19 pandemic, higher-ups forced citizens to get vaccinated; refusal was not an option. Without the vaccine, you couldn’t work, go to the hospital, shop, or attend school. The public wasn’t allowed to question the vaccine; we knew nothing about its efficacy or safety. The government’s newspapers and TV constantly promoted the vaccine’s effectiveness, and we came to believe them.
Leaders kept pushing us to get the first dose, the booster, then another booster. The result? Chronic coughing, lung nodules, diabetes, unbearable leg pain, itchy skin. We could no longer stand or walk and were forced into wheelchairs. It’s truly hopeless.
The Party’s slogan of “people first, life first” has proven nothing but empty words. The Communist Party doesn’t care about people’s lives, it treated us like lab rats. Corrupt officials profited off fake PCR tests and their toxic vaccines.
Now we clearly see the truth: that countless people were harmed or killed during the pandemic by this evil party. We deeply hate the CCP for the calamity it has caused our nation. It is a demonic cult through and through.
As the CCP stands to be destroyed by Heaven, we solemnly declare our withdrawal from all its evil organizations — the Party, Youth League, and Young Pioneers — and seek divine protection!
— Shen Anfu (申安福) and Liu Jiankang (刘健康) quit the Party, Youth League, and Pioneers; Yin Fu'an (尹福安) and An Xingfu (安幸福) quit the Young Pioneers. Hebei Province.
A Christian quits the CCP (May 30, 2025)
I was led into joining the Communist Party in college by classmates, but I never participated in a single Party activity nor paid a cent in dues. I had assumed I automatically quit long ago, but considering the evil nature of the Party, I feel compelled to make this statement now.
Moreover, I was baptized and became a Christian several years ago. One who belongs to God cannot walk with those who belong to Satan. I now formally declare a complete severance from the CCP, the Youth League, the Pioneers, and all other evil cult organizations.
— Tao Weihua (陶卫华)
An overseas Chinese media enjoyer takes part in Tuidang (May 29, 2025)
I’ve been reading The Epoch Times and NTD Television [independent overseas Chinese media outlets] since I was a student and especially enjoy their content, particularly traditional Chinese culture and health knowledge through Chinese medicine. Today’s Chinese society lacks its traditional spirit.
As for the Communist Party, I always disliked it even as a child. Now, the people's land is being seized, homes are demolished, and bank savings vanish in financial crashes. When citizens seek justice, the government not only doesn’t help, but suppresses them. Darkness reigns.
I detest the Communist Party. I hereby declare my withdrawal from the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers that I joined during school, in order to live as a clean and upright person.
— Hongde (弘德), China.
Making a complete break with the CCP and its ‘Anti-Cult’ Association (May 28, 2025)
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has caused the deaths of 80 million people through its numerous political purges. During Mao Zedong’s era, it promoted the slogans “finding joy in struggling against heaven” and “finding joy in struggling against the earth,” which led to environmental devastation. Deng Xiaoping incited the CCP military to suppress students, and Jiang Zemin launched a brutal persecution campaign against over one hundred million Falun Gong practitioners. Heinous acts such as the “tiger bench” and the “death bed” have been used to torture Falun Gong practitioners and persecute the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.
CCP leaders have crushed democracy and halted the effort for democratic elections. The “Chinese Anti-Cult Association” has even incited the public to join forces with the Jiang Zemin faction in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and their founder.
I hereby declare my withdrawal from the Chinese Communist Party and the “Chinese Anti-Cult Association,” as well as other such evil organizations. I call for China to move toward nationalizing its military [currently the Chinese armed forces are a wing of the CCP], establishing constitutional democracy, a presidential system, press freedom, freedom of speech, freedom of belief, academic independence, and judicial independence.
Seeing the True Face of the Evil Party: A Clear Break is Necessary!
(May 28, 2025)
I am a physics teacher and director of political education at a middle school in Shanxi Province. In the first half of my life, I once believed in this evil party that has brought disaster upon the nation and its people. During the pandemic, for the sake of my own future, I had no choice but to comply with the Party's terror-driven lockdown policies to control students at the school.
By chance, I came across videos on foreign platforms produced by The Epoch Times, which exposed the CCP’s disgraceful and criminal history. That prompted me to start reflecting on my own actions.
Today, I hereby declare my withdrawal from the Communist Party, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers, in order to reclaim the conscience I had long lost. Though I do not believe in gods and only believe in science, I still care deeply about moral conscience.
— Huo Guangming (霍光明), Shanxi Province.
A woman quits the Communist Youth League: ‘Historical events must not be forgotten’ (May 28, 2025)
I, Zhou Shuting, following deep personal reflection on my beliefs and values, opt to withdraw from the Communist Youth League, which I previously joined. This decision stems from my understanding of history, human rights, freedom, and responsibility, and is a response to my personal conscience.
I believe that historical events must not be forgotten, especially those that have had profound impact on the people. Every citizen has the right to know the truth and to make informed judgments based on facts and conscience. Reflecting on the past is not disloyalty to one’s country, but rather, responsibility toward the future.
I believe that expressing dissent is a constructive force and an essential component of social progress. Therefore, I choose to express my stance in a peaceful, rational, and nonviolent manner, while respecting the rights of others to hold different views.
At the same time, I strongly condemn the CCP for its massacre of university students peacefully demonstrating for democracy in Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989. This was undeniably a crime against humanity and against democracy. That the Party has not changed its methods of governances shows its absolute disregard for universal values.
Therefore, I solemnly declare:
– I voluntarily withdraw from the [CCP] organization I once joined. This decision is entirely my own and made without any coercion.
– I will continue to uphold the principles of independent thinking, rational expression, and respect for truth.
– The content of this statement reflects only my personal will and position.
— Zhou Shuting (周舒婷)

Statements by Chinese Quitting the Communist Party (May 27, 2025)
The Tuidang movement, started in November 2004, encourages Chinese around the world to renounce their oaths made to lay down their lives for communism when they joined the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) or its affiliated youth organizations. Over the past two decades, hundreds of millions of people have given their assumed or real names to voice their separation from the CCP, the single most deadly regime in human history.
At the forefront of urging Chinese to take part in the Tuidang movement are adherents of Falun Gong, a traditional spiritual discipline that the CCP banned in 1999 and has severely persecuted since. Vision Times presents recent statements from those who have quit the Party, translated from the Chinese.
