RentThe Puppeteers

The Puppeteers is a gripping espionage thriller set in Toronto, where CSIS agent Stella Bolano uncovers a secret network of Chinese police stations operating on Canadian soil. Investigating the suspicious suicide of Chinese immigrant Zhang Li Jun, she unravels a web of transnational repression led by Zhao Wei, the Deputy Consul General of China. With the help of undercover RCMP agent Ray Chen, Stella exposes the CCP’s covert influence over Chinese-Canadians—monitoring dissidents, persecuting activists, and even infiltrating Canadian politics. But when the investigation threatens her own father’s life, Stella must act fast to unmask the hidden forces pulling the strings—before she becomes their next target.
