A Card from Santa

Snow falls over a quiet town, and Christmas lights glow like tiny stars. A young boy waits eagerly, wishing for a stocking and a wooden board signed by Santa himself. On Christmas night, his wish comes true. A gift appears, and inside is a small card. Santa is real, he believes. Santa even tells him that only children who truly believe can see him. He shares his secret with his parents and friends, his voice full of excitement. But no one believes him. They say Santa Claus is just a superstition. Slowly, doubt creeps in, and the boy begins to wonder if Santa was only a dream. Years pass, and the boy grows up. He becomes a father, and work and grown-up worries quietly dim the magic of Christmas. Yet his own young son now waits for the holiday with the same shining eyes. On Christmas morning, the child runs to him, overjoyed, holding a card from Santa. In that moment, the father remembers. Belief returns — not because of proof, but because love chose to keep the magic alive. And so, Christmas wonder is passed from father to son, reminding us that faith never truly disappears; it only waits to be shared again.
