I want to briefly share my amazing healing experience through Falun Dafa that I underwent this past year. 

I started practicing Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, in 2005 when I was 57 years old. I was drawn to Falun Dafa because it’s a great spiritual practice for self improvement based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance. It is not meant for healing illness, however, many people have found that their illnesses disappeared after seriously practicing Falun Dafa. My health also improved greatly after a couple of years. I used to suffer from a slew of problems, including bad headaches and digestive problems. Then followed about 20 years of robust health.

About a year ago a small lump appeared above my left eyebrow. I didn’t worry about it and thought it would go away soon, but it kept growing. So I consulted a dermatologist to see if they could surgically remove it. She said she wanted to take a biopsy first. The biopsy lab results came back saying it was late-stage skin cancer, and the dermatologist referred me to a medical center for treatment. 

At that point, I decided not to go the medical route, but instead put my trust entirely in Falun Dafa. There are thousands of reports on the Minghui website en.minghui.org by Falun Dafa practitioners whose illnesses went away. I did the Falun Dafa meditation and exercises more diligently every day and deeply searched my mind for shortcomings in my cultivation of truthfulness, compassion, tolerance. I found many areas where I needed to improve. I then began to continuously eliminate thoughts in my mind that I felt did not meet the standard of a Falun Dafa practitioner.

Without any type of medical treatment, gradually the lump shrank, and now there’s just a small scab left. I am so grateful to Falun Dafa! 

Obviously, there is more to it than I can say in a few minutes. A lot has to do with karma. If you’re interested, you can read Master Li’s books and articles online, translated in about 50 languages. They are fascinating and enlightening!. It’s all free to read online at falundafa.org 

Start with the main text Zhuan Falun. I suggest the 2014 translation. (Read from beginning to end, without skipping anything.)

The exercises are taught in parks by volunteers, also free of charge. You can find an exercise site near you on the same website or learn them online at LearnFalunGong.com
