One of the things that I struggled with most Medical School, was understanding the anatomical planes of body.

And when you're at Medical School, there are lots of seemingly abstract concepts that you asked to learn, which don't clearly matter to you at that moment in time. Let me be clear: understanding how you're looking at a patient's body is not one of those things.

Understanding the plane to the body, it crucially important for most discussions with colleagues when dealing with images of a patient. Taking things one step further, understanding the views or planes of the body is vital important to be able to use imaging techniques such as the ultrasound probe, which is becoming more common as a bedside test

And I was helped to understand this through a demonstration with a Pear... Hopefully, it'll help you too
