Set in ancient China, this famous Chinese legend follows a young woman who disguises herself as a boy to attend school, only to fall in love with her closest friend in secret. Torn apart by family duty, arranged marriage, and fate, their forbidden love leads to heartbreak, sacrifice, and one of the most beautiful endings in Chinese folklore.
