What is April 25th?
On April 25, 1999, over 10,000 Falun Gong practitioners gathered peacefully outside the State Council Appeals Office in Beijing — the largest peaceful appeal ever seen in China. They came quietly, without banners or slogans, to appeal for the right to practice their faith freely. When their requests were acknowledged that evening, they left without a trace — picking up litter from the streets as they departed. A police officer watching remarked: “This is what virtue looks like.”
Three months later, the Chinese Communist Party launched a brutal nationwide crackdown that has lasted 27 years. Countless practitioners have been unlawfully detained, tortured, and subjected to forced organ harvesting. Yet the spirit of April 25th has never been extinguished.
Every photo you share is an act of perseverance. Every post is a peaceful voice against persecution. Together, let's make the truth heard around the world.
