Falun Dafa at GWU

Falun Dafa Club at George Washington University aims to provide an open environment for members and affiliates of the George Washington University to freely practice Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) on campus, and aims to create an environment for its members to share and improve their experiences in incorporating the values of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, or in Chinese, 真 (zhen), 善 (shan), and 忍 (ren), in their daily lives. Anyone is welcome to join our sessions regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious background, and political beliefs. Participation in all of our activities is on a voluntary basis and free of charge. You are welcomed to join or leave at any time without obligations. Sadly, due to widespread disinformation, Falun Dafa still faces misunderstanding and hostility from some of the citizens from today's China and beyond. This is why we also host events to raise awareness of the institutionalized oppression it faces in today's China, while clarifying any disinformation propagandized on the practice. If you or your friends remain hesitant towards Falun Dafa and its practitioners, we are glad to answer any of your concerns. Being Falun Dafa practitioners, we firmly believe the moral principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance are inclusive and universal values that would benefit any individual, institution, and environment around us.
