In 1949, Paul Bowles wrote these lines in his famous novel "The Sheltering Sky": "Because we do not know when we will die, we think life is an inexhaustible source. But everything just come twice in your life Sometimes, very little you don't recognize your life anymore. Maybe only four, five more times, maybe not that much. How many more times will you have to watch the full moon rise? Maybe only twenty times, but like that was considered endless." So in the middle of a foggy day in the winter of Germany, I began my journey to save the endless stream of memories of my life, in words and images.
