WHITE PLAINS – The Town of Greenburgh’s paramedic supervisor has been charged with several felonies in relation to his alleged forgery of 22 medical certification cards and unlawful retention of certification fees.
Jared Rosenberg, 51, of Dobbs Ferry, was arraigned on Friday on a 45-count complaint charging him with one count each of grand larceny, scheme to defraud, 22 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument, 10 counts each of falsifying business records and tampering with public records. He was also charged with a misdemeanor of official misconduct.
Rosenberg was released on his own recognizance as none of the charges are bail eligible.
State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli said Rosenberg “allegedly not only victimized the national organization, but EMS providers, and many other people and groups, who were led to believe they were obtaining valid credentials.”
Westchester District Attorney Susan Cacace said Rosenberg betrayed the trust by which a public servant must operate.”
From May 14, 2022 to July 23, 2025, it is alleged that Rosenberg conducted trainings that were designed by the Health and Safety Institute, and instead of remitting student fees to the institute, he kept the fees for himself and forged the certification cards, according to the complaint.
