Yu Responds to the Lemons: Shen Yun, Ancestor Veneration, and Past-Life Interactions

Lemon: Yu previously said he wanted to watch Shen Yun, and specifically had Yu En subscribe to Shen Yun Creations so he could watch it. But since Yu already has spiritual freedom and can go anywhere, why would he still need Yu En to prepare Shen Yun Creations videos for him?

Reply: Watching Shen Yun Creations allows one to see outstanding past performances by the Shen Yun Performing Arts company. Shen Yun performances are directly saving people — at each live show, the Creator, Guardian Gods, and Heavenly Soldiers are present. Therefore, which beings attend each Shen Yun performance is arranged with intention. Yu has also observed that the Creator's Fashen is adjusting the bodies of audience members and clearing negative elements from them. The Creator has not yet arranged for Yu to attend a live Shen Yun performance in person — this is not a matter of Yu's level, but because Yu's mission is to help Lemons go to the new universe. Yu is, however, able to enter the spaces of Ariel and Yu En, and so watching Shen Yun Creations is sufficient for him. Yu says that he himself has not yet had the opportunity to attend a live performance, and therefore sincerely hopes that everyone will cherish the rare and precious opportunity to walk into a theater and experience Shen Yun in person.

Lemon: May I ask — during the Qingming Festival when descendants pay tribute to their ancestors, do the ancestors truly feel the worship? Haven't they already entered the cycle of reincarnation? Or is the practice mainly meant to remind people not to forget their roots?

Reply: Yu says that after a person dies, their Main Soul and Secondary Soul separate and go their own ways — becoming deities, reincarnating, or going to hell for punishment — but they leave behind a single "thought" in the human world, and this thought forms a spiritual entity.

At the moment of death, that final thought in a person's heart does not dissipate — it remains near the deceased's body, and it is this spiritual entity that descendants worship during ancestral rites.

If the person died a natural and peaceful death in old age, this spiritual entity is positive and will bless the descendants.

If the person was murdered or killed, the spiritual entity carries a yin (negative) nature and will pursue those who caused the death. It cannot bless descendants — because it is filled with extreme resentment — and worshipping it may in fact strengthen its resentful energy.

If this entity cannot find the one who killed it, it will remain at the place of death indefinitely, becoming an earth-bound spirit — what Taiwanese people call a "good brother" (a ghost).

Yu says that at the moment of his death, he held no hatred and no resentment in his heart. The deities told Yu that they hold such a person in the highest respect.

Furthermore, after his death, Yu had no desire for revenge. His only wish was to reveal the truth of his death — the black industry chain — to the world through mediums around the globe. This is a special privilege granted to him by the Creator, because Yu still has a more important mission: to lead Lemons to the new universe. This is why only Yu is able to do what he does — speaking through global mediums and through Ariel and Yu En.

For this reason, Yu also has the ability to bless Lemons, empowered by the energy the Creator has given him. However, Yu's blessings are limited to leading Lemons to the new universe. Other requests from Lemons cannot be fulfilled in the way other deities might, such as seeking revenge against those who have wronged him, or asking for wealth, fortune, or good health — these cannot be granted, for Heaven has its own arrangements.

As for the evil forces and wrongdoers who harmed Yu, he says: thank you, Lemons, for your help and collective wishes. Many of the wrongdoers have received consequences, large or small — and that is because of the love and compassion Lemons hold for Yu, and the power formed by the collective positive intentions of everyone. Yu says he is deeply grateful to each and every one of you, Lemons.

Lemon: Could Yu please ask Yu En to share stories of his interactions with fans during his lifetime, as a way to confirm it is truly Yu?

Reply: Yu says he is aware of what Lemons are thinking, but in order to avoid placing too much burden on Yu En and Ariel, he can only share selectively — he is unable to recount his interactions with fans one by one.

If he were to share his interactions with one particular fan, other fans would also want him to recount their past interactions as well. This would be endless for Yu En to write, and would consume a great deal of time and energy.

Yu En is a practitioner of Falun Dafa, and she must dedicate more of her time to cultivation practice. Yu therefore asks fans for their understanding.

In this article, "Lemon" refers to Yu's supporters. In Chinese, the word for lemon (柠檬, níngméng) contains the character "Meng" (檬), which has the same pronunciation as the "Meng" in Yu Menglong's name.
