KINGSTON – The Ulster County Board of Elections announced the launch of its sixth Annual “I Voted” sticker contest, inviting young artists from across the county to help shape this year’s Election Day experience.
Open to Ulster County residents ages 9 to 18, the contest encourages students to design the official “I Voted” sticker that will be distributed to voters during the November 3, 2026, general election, including throughout early voting.
Participants are asked to create an original design for a 2-inch circular sticker that must include the words “I Voted.” Artists are welcome to use any medium: crayon, paint, pencil, or digital tools, and may submit their artwork as a photo, PDF, or JPEG. Both hand-drawn and digital submissions are accepted.
Submissions will be accepted from April 15 through June 30, 2026. A panel consisting of the Commissioners, along with local artists and educators from the Ulster County Arts and Cultural Advisory Council, will select the top five designs. Those finalists will then be featured in a public online vote beginning this summer, allowing the community to help choose the winning design.
The selected winner will have their artwork printed on the official “I Voted” stickers distributed to voters across Ulster County this Fall.
Artwork submissions should be emailed to . For more information, residents can call 845-334-5470 or visit .
