A newly released tranche of Justice Department materials related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein includes an email attributed to Epstein that makes unverified allegations about Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, prompting an immediate and categorical denial from Gates’ representatives.

The claims surfaced in documents disclosed as part of the Justice Department’s final release of Epstein-related materials and were first reported by the Daily Mail, which cited an email Epstein allegedly sent to himself. According to the report, the message accuses Gates of contracting a sexually transmitted disease from “Russian girls” and seeking antibiotics to secretly provide to his then-wife, Melinda. The Mail published excerpts of the alleged message here.

A spokesperson for Gates rejected the allegations outright, stating: “These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false. The only thing these documents demonstrate is Epstein’s frustration that he did not have an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame.”

The Daily Mail reported that the alleged Epstein message “lashed out” at Gates for ending their association and included assertions that Gates asked Epstein to delete emails referencing an STD, antibiotics, and other personal descriptions. The outlet also said Epstein expressed “dismay” over Gates’ desire to conclude their “friendship.”

The allegations circulated widely online following a post summarizing the claims shared on X here.

The Daily Mail further reported that the emails appear to be drafts of correspondence intended to be sent by Gates’ then-top adviser, Boris Nikolic, around the time of Nikolic’s resignation from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. According to the report, the text—presented as written from Nikolic’s perspective—described internal disputes and referenced requests Epstein claimed he was asked to facilitate, including obtaining drugs and other actions Epstein characterized as ethically or legally questionable.

Gates has previously acknowledged meeting Epstein and has said he regrets the association. Epstein died in a New York City jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges.

The Justice Department materials released Friday include more than three million pages along with thousands of videos and images, according to reporting by the Daily Caller here. The department cautioned that the production may contain “fake or falsely submitted” material because it incorporates items provided by members of the public over several years.

The Daily Signal reported here that the release followed a law adopted by Congress in November requiring the disclosure of all Epstein-related information. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said the release concludes the administration’s planned disclosures. Under the statute, redactions were made to protect victims’ identities and to avoid compromising active investigations.

That report also noted that President Donald Trump, who socialized with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s before a later falling out, was not accused of wrongdoing in connection with Epstein. The Justice Department said submissions included “untrue and sensationalist claims” about Trump that it described as unfounded and false.

Bill and Hillary Clinton were subpoenaed by Congress to testify about their knowledge of Epstein but declined to appear and are now the subject of contempt of Congress actions, according to the report.

The Justice Department has emphasized that inclusion of a document in the Epstein cache does not constitute verification of its contents, and officials cautioned that allegations contained within the materials should be treated as unproven unless corroborated by independent evidence.
