Tory MP Gareth Bacon has told TalkTV that he thinks Net-Zero will cost a lot of money and impoverish "quite a lot of people."

He told Mike Graham that the Tory Party only won in Uxbridge because of opposition to Sadiq Khan's Ultra Low Emissions Zone.

Mr Bacon also added that TFL wouldn't make much money from ULEZ in a few years time because nobody would be driving polluting vehicles, suggesting that per mile charges for driving could be the next target in sight.
