Zooks

ZOOks is a modern fairytale about the relationship between people and nature, featuring kings, heroes, villains, and young protagonists. In a world where nature is off-limits, 13-year-old Robin lives in a society where plants are considered dirty, butterflies are seen as dangerous, and the forest is forbidden. King Ferdinand and his Office for Nature Control (the BNC) enforce strict separation between people and nature. When Robin's mother Marjolein vanishes during a mission in the forest, Robin ventures into the forest seeking answers and encounters Wolf, a 'wild child' who seems to know more.
