Kaori, a young woman struck by a tragic car accident, loses her sight, but not her optimism. Through chance, she meets a down and out kickboxer named Rui. The two strike a connection, both estranged from society, and are propelled to help each other live life to its fullest. And yet, past mistakes creep into their future happiness.
