The fictional tale of Johnny Dunn, a former football star who retreats to a small desert town he owns, Jake's Corner, after a family tragedy. This dramatic comedy blends elements of Kramer vs. Kramer and Northern Exposure. Set in Jake's Corner, Arizona, the town serves as a rest stop for travelers and a haven for its residents. Johnny and the quirky group living and working there reside in trailers behind the Corner Store and Jake's Corner Bar. Over time, these misfits have formed a close-knit family. The town's dynamic shifts dramatically when Johnny's young nephew moves in with him.
