National Night Out (NNO) is an annual community-building initiative that fosters neighborhood pride and strengthens community partnerships to enhance safety. On the first Tuesday in August (Texas and select areas celebrate on the first Tuesday in October), millions of neighbors across thousands of communities in all fifty states, U.S. territories, and military bases worldwide actively participate in National Night Out. This year marks the 40th annual NNO dedicated to fighting crime.
